Having installed the packages I ran a problem that I have been working
on as a test, and it now reports;
"...error: memory exhausted or requested size too large for range of
Octave's index type"
Further to this question, I have run numerous tests on the code in an
attempt to track down where the error occurs, as Octave doesn't report any
such detail.
I tracked it down to an 'axis tight;' command, which follows an 'axis
square;' command.
Does that give anyone any clues?
It is amongst quite a lot of image code, but as I said, it all worked OK
until getting rid of the fedora octave-forge package and installing the
more up-to-date individual octave-forge packages.
