Regarding saving matrix

Hello, 

              I am generating some data basically the matrix of 1500*10 (1500 point in 10 column) and would like to save as a .dat file but not getting this using the command

eval (['save ' Tr'.dat' ' -ascii -tabs'])

where Tr(i=10) is 10 column data even I have one more column l1 where I have 1500*1 and want to add this l1 and Tr in one taxt file and later would like to use that.......

If i say

eval (['save ' l1(:,1) '.dat' ' -ascii -tabs'])

then saying !1500 is not equal to 1

PLease help me to save this data and tell me how to save l1 as x and all Tr as y in same file....thanks a lot in advance.
