octave 3.2.4 will not plot

I tried removing the oct2mat package - that didn't work.  I'm running on
Windows 7 64-bit.

When I try to run a very simple .m that plots something, it dumps this crap
at me:

I am so sad.  I love octave, but it hates me.  Help?
