I placed in environment variables (system variables) windows xp:
variable OCTAVE_HOME
value c:\Octave
rebooted, and tried to run the program, no success.
path problem is still there.
I tried to find sysdep.cc on the installed location, it is not there. I
think it is "not" part of the compiled octave. Maybe the source have it.
Now what to do, check what ?
thanks
