Some questions for Ben L and Tatsuro

I have been wondering about helping with the effort for a mingw build
of Octave 3.4.

I have been trying to build the dependencies required for a mingw32[1]
build of octave. I have not used mingw-w64 before. I just read that
mingw-w64 can produce binaries for 32 and 64 machines. So, are you
concentrating on mingw-w64 at the moment? Are there no plans for a
release of a mingw32 build of octave 3.4?
