I am glad to hear that you could execute windows binary.
I myself try to fix the issue but have no good idea yet.
Recently Benjamin Lindner have come back to the ML and are working extensively.

Windows specific bugs have been solved one by one. (Today the datevec issue is 
solved owing to the
work by the Benjamin.)  I hope the remaining issue will be solved in the near 
future.
