In one hand, I'd tried to install GNU-Octave from 3.3.52 .tar.bz2 file. On
the other hand, I don't want to wait until snapshot development sources will
have updated. By the way, what does snapshot stands for?

Based on jwe advice, how can I build the mercurial archive?
I've just read the Development Sources Section in
http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/download.html, and I installed Mercurial,
but I haven't got any idea of what I suppose to do, also I haven't got much
experience on this thing.

Thanks in advance...
