beep() and beep_on_error() working in Windows?

beep() and beep_on_error() working in Windows? |

The function beep()
and beep_on_error() doesn't seem to work on my Windows PC. I'm running
version 3.2.3 on Vista and yes, I do have speakers. Is this a known issue,
or might I have something misconfigured? I searched for a bug report on
beep() but didn't find any.
