Version 3.3.51. 64bit: libtool error on AIX 5.3

Hi,

Following the advice on the list, I am trying to compile the current
3.3.51 on AIX using gcc 4.3.3. I am getting the following error:


  libtool: compile: gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.. -I/opt/freeware/include
  -mcpu=power5 -maix64 -O2 -D_THREAD_SAFE -MT close-hook.lo -MD -MP -MF
  .deps/close-hook.Tpo -c close-hook.c -DPIC -o .libs/close-hook.o

  In file included from close-hook.c:25:
  ./stdlib.h:62: error: redefinition of 'struct random_data'

I assume that this issue is related to the toolchain. On AIX setting up a
complete GNU toolchain is somewhat arduous, since the packages have to
be cobbled together from various sources.
