I cannot really understand why I got these problems in editing an existing
file, but I can solve this problem by opening the Notepad++ editor itself
and looking for the .m function using the "File/Open" command.

About the plot problem, Benjamin was right, I just installed the oct2mat
package and everything went right. I didn't know I had to install that
package because in the previous versions of Octave I never had this
problem!!
