error messages while launching octave

Hi,

I have recently installed octave on my karmic 9.10 system.

However, when I launch it with 

address@hidden:~$ octave-3.2.2

While I enter the octave command prompt, I would like to know the reason for these warnings. In particular, what does 'line -1, column -1' mean?!
