Uhh, I know this one. GSL is GPL and glibc is LGPL. That being said, I
don't consider it unlikely that the GSL developers would be willing to
relicense this small piece of code (if it is possible).

I am a bit lost in this thread. Has a bug report been filed against
glibc?
