Hi
Does anybody know how to save all your variables in Octave like a .mat
file in matlab?

have you tried using the same command as in matlab?

Better if i can save a .mat file in Octave.

on platforms other than windows the file extension does not necessarily relate to the data format. anyway if what you want is to save data in the matlab binary format have a look at the '-mat-binary' option for the 'save' command.

P.S. did you know? "Octave is fully documented by a comprehensive 575 page manual" ( http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/docs.html )
