The MatlabCentral home page as links to the 5 "Most recent" and 5
"Most popular". Previously, I only looked at the very most recent.
This time I surveyed all ten. Five of the MatlabCentral author pages
had email addresses and five did not--so it must be optional and the
one I saw before happened to not have one. I downloaded these ten
packages and inspected them. Of these six did not contain author
contact information. One included a web URL and two had email
addresses inside PDF documents. The last one seemed to be a pool of
files with various authors. Some of those authors hand email addresses
along with a personal favorite:

Apparently, authoring a book makes you more equal than others.
