Does octave supply rotation for labels?

In gnuplot i can put label anywhere i want, and rotate it by any angle.
How about octave? I find no information in the help file.

For example, i use mesh to plot a figure, and then provide the x and ylabels using the following commands:

h=mesh(xx,yy,ZZ);

xlabel('C (mol/L)');
ylabel('B/(℃/min)');

view(56,59);

After that, i find that the x, and y axis is inclined as i expected, while the labels are horizontal and so look not so good.
I wish to rotate them, is it possible?

Regards,

Jacky
