How to solve a Delay Differential Equation

Hi, i have to solve an equation like this

ds/dt = f(t, s(t-10*DELTA t))

where DELTA t is the time step or time unit.

It' s a sort of discrete delay as wikipedia definition says http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delay_differential_equation

This equation is a part of a system of ordinary differential equation. On two variables of this system there is this delay.
