set outerposition broken?

Hi,
I recently updated 3.0.1 to 3.2.2 and noticed set outerposition seems broken. It used to change the ratio and position of the plot in 3.0.1 but in 3.2.2 it doesn't seem to be doing anything.
set(ax, 'OuterPosition', [0,0,0.90,1]);
Anyone experiencing the same issue?
