Re: Launch/run other (terminal) programs from Octave on Linux

Hi, 

first of all thanks for the fast respond.
@George: as far as I understand your idea it's that I rather start Octave as
a "sub-program" and the other one as well with a normal shell script?! Well,
that probably works, but the thing is I need the output/data from this other
program (exactly: the program k8055, named after the function it has ->
managing the Velleman k8055 USB I/O USB card).

@Jaroslav: since I am fairly new in working with Octave I didn't know about
this build-in functions, especially since I didn't find anything in the
tutorial I used. But it seems to work, "already" the command "system" does
what I need. Thanks a lot.
