Hi,
I noticed that my version of octave 3.0 (3.0.1, Debian) is very
slow. (Especially if run in folders with many files, but even in
empty folders it's significantly slower than earlier versions.)
As this seems to be a known issue: Is it to improve in the next
releases or is it going to stay slow for some time?
Is there any trick to speed it up?
