I'm attempting to compile a copy of octave 3.0.3 on an ubuntu Linux pc
but get the following errors during compiling. I googled and found something about
a missing fortran compiler but not sure how to fix it. Any suggestions?
Alternatively is there a 3.0.3.deb around anywhere?

Thanks

Jim
