Dear Octave developers,

Is possible to add an option in the "print" command for an output from
Octave/Gnuplot to the obj files of Tgif (http://bourbon.usc.edu/tgif/) ?

During several years ago we use this option through the command "save"
but in the more recents releases this feature was missing.

Our current release of Tgif in our Fedora 10 system is

$ tgif --version
Tgif Version 4.1 (patchlevel 45 - QPL)
Copyright (C) 2001-2006, William Chia-Wei Cheng (address@hidden)

while the corresponding one of Octave is

$ octave --version
GNU Octave, version 3.0.3
Copyright (C) 2008 John W. Eaton and others.

For some plots we prefer Tgif to, for instance, XFig.

In this way Octave will be a more beautiful system for Linux users.

Regards,
Jorge D'Elia.
