I don't know what interval arithmetic is... unless you mean
set-theoretic operations on intervals. I don't think Octave has
anything like it. Depending on what it is, it might make sense to add
that functionality to Octave. If you think it's useful and that Octave
doesn't have it, consider contributing code to Octave.
