Alright thanks for the info there. Ill use eps now instead as I was only
using png as I know how to include that in Latex documents but after a bit
of reading saw eps is pretty simple to do also. 
Found why the eps documents I had werent looking right was because they were
opening in an image viewer rather than a document viewer so they probably
are the way to go now I know a bit more about them. Plus they work.
