Hi,

I've tried updating octave to the latest version (
ftp://ftp.octave.org/pub/octave/bleeding-edge/octave-2.9.6.tar.bz2 ),
however when linking octave I'm getting

         rm -f liboctinterp.so.3.1.51
         ln -s liboctinterp.so liboctinterp.so.3.1.51

Do you have an idea which libraries do contain those symbols?
I've tried compiling with these configure options:
  --enable-readline --enable-dl --disable-static --enable-shared
and with the octave lapack library.
