Hi,

I configure octave so it will install in a special application path "$PREIFX"
using:

./configure --prefix=$PREFIX

in this path additional libaries (in this case) qhull are also installed.
However octave does not see/find them in this path. I also tried with the other
"goodies" such as
UMFPACK COLAMD CCOLAMD CHOLMOD HDF5
without success.

Does octave look for necessary libraries only in the standard directory and
ignores the
added with --prefix
OR is the error on my side?

Thanks and best regards, daniel heiserer
