[I have googled around, but without finding a single reference to this
obvious combination]
Chebfun [http://www.comlab.ox.ac.uk/projects/chebfun/] seems to be an
exciting project. It runs on Matlab and I have just verified that none of
the two downloadable versions works out-of-the-box with octave-3.0.
I know way too little about Matlab and Octave's compatibility to find out
how serious the problems are (I am using octave sort of regularly, but am
e.g. surprised about the @ characters in the code).
So here is my question: Has anybody with more Matlab and Octave knowledge
tried to get Chebfun running with Octave? Is this
(a) hopeless
(b) possible
(c) trivial (and I am just missing something simple)?
