As you know, the emf format is a standard graphics format both for vector and 
image on windows.
I think that Octave-MSVC is an octave for windows users so that emf format MUST 
be supported.

I hope that you to update the gnuplot for MSVC-octave to 4.2.3 which is current 
official release of
gnuplot.
