Hi,
Avira Antivir started to complain that way, too. I have installed Octave 
on that machine (WinXP) (approx. month ago) and everything was OK until 
tomorrow.
I hope that it is just a collision of a malware code and the code of the 
Octave. Google gives no obvious answer...
