| I am new to octave and would like to get started on RHEL 4
Isn't there an RPM file available that makes it relatively simple to
install?
| In any case I do have zlib-devel installed:
|
|
|
===============================================================================
| RHEL WS 4 (Nahant Update 6) 2.6.9-67.0.7.ELsmp (8x2793MHz
| PowerEdge 2850)
|
===============================================================================
| address@hidden ~]$ rpm -qa |grep zlib
| zlib-devel-1.2.1.2-1.2
| zlib-1.2.1.2-1.2
I'd guess it is too old, and doesn't include some fucntions required
by Octave.
