Sorry I cannot figure out what you would like to say by 'please go ahead'.

I cannot fix isprint behaves consistently for MSVC.
The function isprint on mingw work as the same that in cygwin.
I think that it is not required to fix isprint for mingw.
(Hi John! Am I right ?)

So only I can do is modifying the test.

It would grateful for me you to explain what you would like to say by 'please 
go ahead'.
