Did you have a previous version of Octave installed? If yes, did
oyu uninstall it before installing 3.0.0 release? Do you have
a .octaverc file in your home directory (you can check your home
dir by typing "echo %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%" in a
windows command prompt).
