```I'm not sure exactly what you want to do in the boundary cases, but I
think this is what you want:

G = A(3:end,:)./(A(1:end-2,:).*A(2:end-1,:));
GT = A(1:end-2,:)./(A(3:end,:).*A(2:end-1,:));
