troubles with cvs

From: Ben Abbott

I've been unable to access the cvs for the last day, or so.

I have CVS_ROOT set correctly, and had no problem fetching my 1st copy of Octave off the server earlier this week, and have been able to generate patches.

I did some testing below.

I've also restarted my networks routers and cable modem.

If anyone has any ideas for what I might try next, I'd appreciate the help.

In particular, does anyone have a suggestion for a quick and easy test of my cvs?
