'graceplot' and 'octave' - what needs to be built ?

Hello All,

I've successfully/"successfully" built 
'octave-forge-bundle-20070821/extra/graceplot-1.0.1'
package, but I realize I have never built the underlying graphing package.

Quick web search points to

http://graceplot.sourceforge.net/

which in its turn depends on

http://plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il/Grace/
.

So, for 'octave-forge-bundle-20070821/extra/graceplot-1.0.1' to work should I 
only build

http://plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il/Grace/ ('xmgrace')

or also

http://graceplot.sourceforge.net/ - this one is Python bindings for the above
'xmgrace' ?
