Hello,

I think most octave-forge functions may require a more recent version than 2.9.9. I have encountered with similar problems before. I used to install octave 2.9.9 from the official Fedora repository and no forge package can be installed correctly.

I suggest installling the up-to-date version. It works for me. Just a suggestion.

Are there deprecated functions which do not migrate to the new
version? What is the idea behind?

My actual problem now is running the function leasqr function.
As you see bellow, the problem is in the function __grishold__
which is a symlink to __grcmd__.oct, an LSB shared object.
Any help? Thanks in advance ...
