Thank you for your information.
As you pointed, my gperf was old (v 2.4.5).
Octave 2.9.12 requires gperf 3.01.
Fortunately I checked cygwin yesterday.
Version of gperf is updated to 3.0.1 and installed it.
I will try using this new gperf.
