sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/octave <path of your octave.app>/Contents/Resources/bin/octave
Uuupppss... Sorry, the other way (from source to destination):
sudo ln -s <path of your octave.app>/Contents/Resources/bin/octave
/usr/local/bin/octave
