Hello:
Try with "andlinux", is a colinux program and make run linux in a window$$$ XP, andlinux is based on ubuntu.
I use this and work very well.

Needs 2 or 4 Gb and 256 mb of ram but with can run in 128, even on 64 mb, the size exe with the instalation is about 200mb or 400mb ;).
