By the way, it's GNU Octave, not GNU/Octave (Octave isn't a kernel).
It's GNU/Linux because it's the GNU system plus the Linux kernel, and
it's GNU Octave because Octave is part of GNU, and it's not GNU Linux
because Linux isn't part of the GNU project.
That was probably a confusing and unnecessary explanation, eh? ;-)
