I only develop the testsuite and because compatibility issues I should
deal with this kind of matlab style. We want to use the testsuite to
make it possible to switch over from matlab to octave. But the
testcases should work on old matlab code as on new octave code to collect
regression information if functions rewritten in case of Octave
compatibility.

Therefore the testsuite should run under Matlab 6.5/7.xx such as under
Octave 2.9.xx.
