GNU = GNU is not Unix.
:-) This was a smart joke, but in the www.gnu.org site they say
"The GNU Project was launched in 1984 to develop a complete UNIX-like
operating system"
and they choose Linux.
Furthermore, you know for sure that
Linux = Linus + Unix
