octave-forge loadpath

Hi all

I have a problem with a row inside octaverc. The row below will 
cause an error
while starting octave:

LOADPATH=['/usr/local/libexec/octave/2.9.9/site/oct/i686-pc-linux-
gnu/octave-forge:/usr/local/share/octave/2.9.9/site/m/octave-
forge//:',LOADPATH];


error-message:
error: 'LOADPATH' undefined near line 6 column 140

error: near line 6 of file 
'/usr/local/share/octave/site/m/startup/octaverc'

I have installed Octave-2.9.9
octave-forge-2006.07.09

is this correct that in this octave-forge version is no extra/ver20 
directory?
