When I try to use `inline', Octave says: error: `inline' undefined near line * column * I am using the version: GNU Octave, version 2.1.50 (i686-pc-linux-gnu). Is `inline' present in version 2.1.50?
Apparently it is not. I would suggest using a newer release of octave. A lot has changed in octave in the 3 years since 2.1.50 was released.
