Hi, When I compile a simple oct function in octave 2.9.8 or 2.9.9 under Debian GNU/Linux I obtain an exec file whose size is about 500 Kb, but when I compile the same source in Octave 2.1.73 under freeBSD the size is about 35 Kb. I don't understand this huge difference. Some opinion?
P.S.: When I compiled Octave 2.9.9 under Debian GNU/Linux the ./configure command returns:
Do internal array bounds checking: false Build static libraries: false Build shared libraries: true Dynamic Linking: true (dlopen) Include support for GNU readline: true
64-bit array dims and indexing: false
configure: WARNING: CHOLMOD not found. This will result in some lack of functionality for sparse matrices.
Thanks
