This is not so important problem. I tried to compile octave with Intel
C++/Fortran compilers for faster calculation, but C++ compiler complains
at oct-stream.cc like

....snip....
oct_data_conv::data_type, oct_mach_info::float_format, bool, bool) [with
T=double]" at line 3490
            instantiation of "int octave_stream::write(const Array<LT>
&, int, oct_data_conv::data_type, int, oct_mach_info::float_format)
[with T=double]"

compilation aborted for oct-stream.cc (code 2)
...snip....

As a matter of course I can build it with normal gcc-3.4.4 on Gentoo
Linux. If anyone could build successfully, will you tell me the
workaround? Of course I am satisfied with gcc, but I think speedup
won't hurt :)

Thanks in advance!
