error compiling cvs version "oct-inttypes.h" "bitfcns.o"

Hi.

The octave-2.9.4 default compilatin is ok.

The cvs version compilation do not end with succes.

The error message is:

../liboctave/oct-inttypes.h:260: error: candidates are: 
octave_int<T>::operator
   double() const [with T = octave_int8_t]

   float() const [with T = octave_int8_t]

I am trying to compile under slackware 10.1.
