I downloaded the GNU octave 2.1.36 for windows. Since i am new to Octave, i decided to follow the manual, in the section 1.2 Simple examples the comand octave:1> a = [ 1, 1, 2; 3, 5, 8; 13, 21, 34 ] was asked to be typed.
Upon entering I got the following messages error: invalid lvalue function called in _expression_ error: evaluating assignment _expression_ near line 1, column 13 Could you please help me out here?
