A very similar behavior happens happens in my box under Fedora 4. I
filed a bug about it in the octplot's Sourceforge bugzilla a few weeks
earlier. Compilation goes fine, but as I try to plot anything, the
window is drawn and octave crashes immediately after, though the
window stays open and can be moved. I am using octave 2.1.71 and fltk
1.1.6.
