Ze Li,For some two years now, I have built octave under Cygwin on a regular basis. I have never once had any difficulty at all. If Cygwin is fully and properly installed, its compliance is such that it is indistinguishable from Linux - albeit slower in the execution of scripts. Honestly, read the instructions on the box, add the batteries and it will work.
