Hi Ferhat
You are using an outdated version of Octave. Before you do anything
else, first install the newer version available at
http://octave.sf.net -> Files
Also look for thread in the mailing lists at http://www.octave.org on
the topics you mentioned, as well as
http://wiki.octave.org
